BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF YOUR SPORT:
The criteria used to judge a physique is based upon three aspects: (1) symmetry, (2) muscularity, and (3) presentation
1. SYMMETRY:
Symmetry refers to the strucutral harmony of the physique relative to the size of the various body parts. Shape, proportion, detail, definition, and balance of each body part in relation to one another must give a cohesive whole and overall balance.
2. MUSCULARITY:
Muscularity refers to the size of the muscles in relation to skeletal structure, their shape, hardness, and definition. Also included are seperation between adjacent muscles and muscle groups, and striations within a muscle or muscle group.
3. PRESENTATION:
Presentation is the effective display of the contestant’s asset through posing ability, posture, projection, and carriage on stage.
CONTEST HISTORY:
I began training for the first time ever on the gym floor in January this year. Previously I have done group fitness classes at the gym 5 days per week, mainly Body Pump and Body Combat. I had always been interested in the sport of body sculpting / body building and with my 40th birthday in 2011, I thought it’s now or never.
I started training with Odette Lydford on the Sculpther team in January 2011 with the goal to qualify for the INBA Universe titles in October 2011. This seemed a BIG goal to achieve at the time. I competed in the Brisbane INBA competition in May and placed 3rd in Master’s Figure. I was strongly encouraged to change to body building rather than sculpting and then made the decision from July to train for the Women’s Physique Competition. I’m thrilled to say that not only did I qualify for the INBA Universe I placed -

COMPETITIVE GOAL:
To showcase a lean, muscular body whilst still maintaining femineity and glamour in female body building. To bring a better package to the stage every time I compete.

Monday: Legs workout / X Trainer / Teach Body Pump
Tuesday: Chest, Tricep, Abs workout / Bike / Teach Body Combat
Wednesday: Back, Biceps, Abs workout / Treadmill
Thursday: Legs workout / X trainer / Teach Body Pump
Friday: Shoulders, Abs workout / Bike
Saturday: Teach Body Pump / Teach Body Combat
Sunday: Rest – Beach Walk
