TRAINING REGIME/PROGRAM:

I stick to the same training intensity on and off season but the only difference is my program in the off season which consists of lifting heavier and more compound exercises and in the lower rep range. I also train 5 days a week in off season compared to 7 days when i prepare for a show, this includes cardio.

When preparing for a show I will step up the cardio by implementing track work at the local athletics centre and incorporating sprints and plyometrics to my program. I also live near the beach where I am lucky to have sand dunes and this is where I run, I conduct this session once a week when I am 6 weeks out from a show.

Not only is it important to have a training program 100% effective and constantly monitored and altered to make sure I come in lean and muscular to fit the criteria and world standard but it is equally important to make sure my Diet Program is the same standard.

My diet plan is the key to looking my best and it can either make or break me. Mind power and pure determination is required to get through the weeks and sometimes months of sticking to a diet as eating the same bland meals is challenging.
